Chief Civil Engineer
About the Role
APEX global ventures ltd is seeking an experienced Chief Civil Engineer to lead our engineering design and technical planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee structural analysis, project design, and technical specifications for large-scale infrastructure projects across Rwanda and East Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee engineering design and structural analysis for infrastructure projects.
- Conduct comprehensive technical planning and feasibility studies.
- Develop detailed engineering specifications and drawing packages.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams on complex projects.
- Ensure compliance with international engineering standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and government agencies on technical matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent certification required.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, or similar engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure design standards for roads, bridges, and utilities.
- Experience with Rwanda's procurement and regulatory environment is advantageous.
